Experience walking by faith, receive inner healing, conquer fear, and get to know God closer than ever before!
What Happens on DTS?
For the first 10 days you will be fully immersed in a Christian community, living at the Hub in Riversdale and training under a variety of excellent teachers.
Topics cover nearly every aspect of Christian discipleship, from being empowered by the Holy Spirit and learning to hear God's voice, to dealing with human relationships, forgiveness, and mission.
You will learn how to study and apply the Bible, have the opportunity to face and conquer fear and pain, and receive ministry and mentoring from leaders who truly care for you.
3 Week Outreach Phase
At the completion of the teaching phase you and the team will travel to Tonga for 3 weeks of outreach, evangelism, and putting into practice everything you have just learned.
Our outreach phase is unique in that we do not start with a predetermined plan. Instead we have a blank schedule and we ask God to fill our time. You may participate in tv and radio programs, children's and youth work, street evangelism and preaching, prison ministry, or work with the poor, the sick, and the disabled. The outreach phase is an exciting and challenging adventure, as we practice walking by faith and following God's plan.
At the end of the three weeks are several days of debrief, during which you revisit the topics studied during the teaching phase, in light of the outreach. Finally a graduation ceremony is held, so that we as a team are able to celebrate what God has done in one another.
Please note we will not be holding this DTS in 2019. However applications are open for our 2020 DTS
