Ministry Internship Diploma
When Jesus was on earth, his main method of discipleship was hanging out with 12 men for an extended period of time; living among them, teaching them through everyday experiences, and letting them observe and participate in his work.
Our 3D internships seek to replicate this process - bringing together a small group of followers who are dedicated to learning and experiencing kingdom living. Interns will have the opportunity to observe and engage with experienced ministry specialists, in ways that will equip them to live as whole-hearted followers of Christ.
The course includes the following components:
Work and Living - Just as the Apostle Paul was proactive about providing for his own needs we will encourage interns to be involved in providing for their own needs in work. It is expected that students work 12 hours in paid employment per week. We will assist in finding suitable work for each intern. Interns will be based at The Hub, and will participate in household chores, meal preparation, etc.
Study, ministry and prayer - It is our desire that the students can continue their spiritual, and personal Christian development during this time. Classes will be conducted by a wide range of teachers with a diverse set of experiences. Interns will also have the opportunity to work alongside pastors in ministry situations.
Outreach and church planting experiences - Our participants will be involved in relevant ministry experiences. This will involve putting into practice classroom and vocational experiences. Discernment, prayer, compassion, humble service, evangelism and the creation of home-groups and the encouragement of new churches will be part of this experience.
The 1 Year Ministry Internship Program runs on an individual need basis
